Richteren 6:2

SV	Als nu de hand der Midianieten sterk werd over Israel, maakten zich de kinderen Israels, vanwege de Midianieten, de holen, die in de bergen zijn, en de spelonken, en de vestingen.
WLC	וַתָּ֥עָז יַד־מִדְיָ֖ן עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מִפְּנֵ֨י מִדְיָ֜ן עָשֽׂוּ לָהֶ֣ם ׀ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶת־הַמִּנְהָרֹות֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בֶּֽהָרִ֔ים וְאֶת־הַמְּעָרֹ֖ות וְאֶת־הַמְּצָדֹֽות׃
Trans.	watā‘āz yaḏ-miḏəyān ‘al-yiśərā’ēl mipənê miḏəyān ‘āśû lâem bənê yiśərā’ēl ’eṯ-hamminəhārwōṯ ’ăšer behārîm wə’eṯ-hammə‘ārwōṯ wə’eṯ-hamməṣāḏwōṯ:

AC	ב ותעז יד מדין על ישראל מפני מדין עשו להם בני ישראל את המנהרות אשר בהרים ואת המערות ואת המצדות
ASV	And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel; and because of Midian the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and the caves, and the strongholds.
BE	And Midian was stronger than Israel; and because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made holes for themselves in the mountains, and hollows in the rocks, and strong places.
Darby	And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites the children of Israel made for themselves the dens that are in the mountains, and the caves, and the strongholds.
ELB05	Und die Hand Midians wurde stark über Israel. Vor Midian richteten sich die Kinder Israel die Klüfte zu, die in den Bergen sind, und die Höhlen und die Bergfesten.
